For The World
Our God of peace and justice!
We pray to you for your intervention in the lives of the people.
God we pray for a peaceful dialogue in Greece between the public and the administration where an ongoing violence is disrupting the normal life in Greece and other parts of the world.
We pray for the people who are seeking justice for the religious freedom in the countries especially in Vietnam and India. We remember those eight Vietnamese Catholics who were charged for their ministry in the country. Religious freedom is the right of every human being, God we pray that their right is respected and the people of different faith are given equal space and right to follow their religion in their countries especially in the communist countries.
God we uphold the people in Indonesia who are affected by the recent bird flu. We pray for the administration in Hong Kong and other Asian countries who are taking effective measures to control the bird flu.
For Our Congregation
God we thank you for the blessing of the diversity at KUC. Thank you God for the different gifts and talents to all the congregation members and their active participation and contribution to the Church. We continue to uphold each congregation members and seek your support and guidance for your mission through KUC
We specially pray for our members and friends seeking asylum in Hong Kong, who are away from their familes and dear ones. God we uphold their families and dear ones in our prayers please be with them and protect them from the persecution.
We ask this prayer in the name of our Lord, Saviour and Liberator Jesus Christ. Amen
