Dear Loving God,
We thank you for
bringing us together to worship you as a faith community today. We offer our
prayers to you for the people who need your mercy, healing and loving
intervention in various ways.
Merciful God, we are
very sad for the tragic crash of the Malaysian Airlines plane on
the Ukraine-Russia border a few days ago. Nearly three hundreds passengers and crew on board died. May all the dead rest in peace. We uphold
the family members who have lost their loved ones in this tragedy May your
spirit comfort them and heal their broken heart. May your spirit of justice
guide the specialists to find out the truth of the accident.
Loving God,
you are the one who teach us peace and justice, we are concerned about the
violent attack in Gaza and many Palestinian have been suffering. God we seek
your peace and intervention to stop these inhuman wars and violence. May those
mourning the loss of their loved ones be comforted .We ask for your peace dwell
upon the lands of the Middle East.
We pray for the
Philippines as the nation is suffering from another typhoon which has killed
and injured many, millions of people’s lives have been
affected by power cuts and flooding. We pray for the government and the relief
agencies to provide immediate services for those in need and continue to
support the rebuilding and refurbishment of lives and livelihood.
God of unity, you are
God of relation, you call us to unit in your love. In Christ we are all in
one. We pray here for and with many churches in the world. In the ecumenical
cycle of prayers, we pray for the people and churches of Belize, Guatemala,
Honduras and Mexico. These countries have been suffering from the problems of
poverty, corruption and child trafficking. May you save and bring light to the
people in these lands.
God of Healing, we
uphold members of our congregation who are sick and are hospitalized for
treatment. We particularly remember
Amor, Bong and Siamon for their medical treatment and recovery process.
We pray all these in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Amen.
